Man Kills Neighbor’s Dog a Beagle because he was harassing his dog and he didn’t like it
Tired of seeing the dog of his neighbors “harassing” his own dog, a resident of Payzayac, Dordogne, ended up shooting the dog by using his shotgun.
The man admitted shooting the dog and will be sternly punished for acts of cruelty to an animal.
When, in the same neighborhood, the cohabitation between domestic animals is difficult.
However, there are multiple solutions to this problem and the neighbors can very well agree on the measures to be taken for the good of all. Some people, however, do not think in this way and prefer to resort to violence. Deadly violence.
This is unfortunately what happened on Monday in the peaceful town of Payazayac, in the Dordogne. That afternoon, a sixty-year-old Payazayac resident decided he had to kill the neighbors’ dog. A Beagle named Bobby revolved around his dog and the man he didn’t like the insistence of the male dog. He then grabbed his shotgun and rushed towards Bobby, shooting at close range. The Beagle obviously did not survive this fatal accident.
What happens if you end up adopting a dog you thought you will never see again?
Nicole was only 14 when her family made the decision to part with her dog. 8 years have passed since then and a small miracle has taken place.
Nicole Grimes is now a 22-year-old mother who lives in West Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She just ends up adopting a dog that was, in fact, hers when she was still a girl.
“When I was little, I wanted a dog. I told my grandma about it, “she recalls. And her grandmother had fulfilled her wish: “My mom came to pick me up at school and my grandmother was with her. On her lap, there was this beautiful pup with a pink bow on his head.
Between the dog, a Pomeranian / Poodle mix, and Nicole, very strong links were woven throughout the four years together, until the family decides to separate.
Her father had just landed a job at home and the dog, particularly agitated and noisy, prevented him from doing his job properly. Chloe was dropped off at the Humane Society shelter in Washington County.
8 years have passed since Chloe had lived with 2 other families. Recently, a Facebook friend of Nicole posted a message in which he explained that he was looking for a forever home for an elderly dog named Chloe.
The resident of West Brownsville thought, seeing the picture, that she looked a little like the animal she Knows during her childhood, but she did not really believe it was the same furry friend.
She then decided to adopt her, more because the profile of the dog suited her only by the conviction that it was the one that shared his daily life 8 years ago.
A Miracle Happens
At home, this feeling of familiarity increased over the days, as Chloe had behaviors she was already displaying at the time, such as lifting the paw in a certain way or going around in circles. To be sure, Nicole and her father passed it to the chip reader and the result could not be clearer: this is the one and only Chloe!
For Nicole, there is no doubt that this miraculous return is a wink from the sky from her beloved grandmother, who died 3 years ago.
She was thinking of adopting a dog from a shelter after her pet passed away
After losing her dog in April 2017, Karine was thinking of adopting a dog from a shelter. Her crush fell on Ayanna, a Romanian dog that had just been saved. But Ayanna was not alone.
Ayanna came from a shelter in Romania, partner of the association the Ark of Eternity. In her country of origin, she had narrowly escaped death … “It was the crush of this pretty pooch looking so sad,” Karine said. Her choice was made: Ayanna would join her family!
Ayanna had a puppy
But Ayanna was not alone … “We learned that the puppy that was in her cage … was hers! We must admit that they are not alike at all, so we did not imagine that when seeing their pictures in the first time, fortunately, because we might not have chosen Ayanna if we knew she had a baby “, Admits Karine. “But there, our heart was already ready to welcome her, so we decided to take him too”.
In June 2017, Ayanna and her baby, Malongo, arrived at the airport: “We had only one hurry: bring them back home quickly so that they finally find rest, together,” says Karine. The first days were not simple: “Ayanna has adapted very quickly, but for Malongo, things have been more difficult because he is very fearful of humans. How could such a young puppy (he was 4 months old when he arrived at home) have been so traumatized by humans? Asks the happy owner.
Subsequently, it was necessary to teach everything to the two dogs: walking on a leash, the wearing of the harness, cleanliness … For Karine, “they are very intelligent, and their love for us does the rest.” Very close, the two dogs move together, at their own pace, and protect each other.
We must take into account the past of the dog
Today, the whole family is happier than ever, and Karine testifies: “The relationship is very strong between us and full of respect because Ayanna was really an exemplary mother who managed to save at least 2 of her babies, she can be proud of her. And her love for her son is seen every day, she continues to educate it is very cute! As for Malongo, “he finally discovers what it’s like to be a puppy, to play, to do stupid things, everything he did not do when he arrived; and we are happy to see him discovering things like making bubbles in the water dish with his snout! ”
To those who think about adopting a dog from a shelter or somewhere else, Karine has only one advice: “to understand that an abandoned dog has had a life before the one you offered to him, that you had to understand his good and bad character, ” She readily admits that even having had the first dog for 10 years, she was far from knowing everything about the canine companion and its needs: “With Malongo and Ayanna, I discovered dog language. I make discoveries every day on the positive education, the respect of the animal instinct, allow them to tell us no when they don’t want to caresses … “And conclude:” There are many things to learn from our animals and from education websites! “
Nobody realized it was there until a police dog detected it
Last week, a police dog from Mexico City was sniffing parcels, when he stopped on a large box sealed with tape.
The officers realized that something was wrong with this specific box, So they cut the tape and opened it.
The sniffer police dog was meant to look for contraband but…
They find a Bengal tiger of approximately two-months-old. And it seems he was transported in bad conditions.
The animal was asleep for transport and had only a few holes to breathe. He had neither food nor water.
It is a species cataloged in danger of extinction, due to illegal hunting to use its skin.
According to the police, the tiger sent from Jalisco State in the west to Queretaro State.
Though the tiger’s ownership paper were in order, The fact remains that the way of doing this trip was neither more nor less than cruelty and animal mistreatment.
When taken for treatment and rehydration, the tiger was too weak but otherwise in good shape.
If it is difficult to know Why this poor animal was sent in this way. It is likely to be a pet or serve as an attraction, which is common in Mexico where animals are drugged for then to be walked, photographed, caressed …
The Bengal tiger cub has been sent to the wildlife rescue Directorate of the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zuniga.
All thanks to the sniffer dog at the postal center because of whom the animal is new safe and well treated.
She became a big sister, the owner of this West Highland White Terrier dog creates her own room under the stairs
Molly, an adorable Westie female, is thrilled with the arrival of a baby at home, but to make sure she does not feel abandoned, her owner has a nice surprise. Until then, Molly, a West Highland White Terrier dog, had a pretty little kennel on the terrace of her owner Michael McGowan’s house, who recently became a father, to make her comfortable.
Michael did not want Molly to feel abandoned. He had the idea to create a room for her. After looking for the best location, he thought that the space under the stairs and near the kitchen could do the trick. He was not sure of the volume.
He dug a hole in the partition to inspect the area and found that he had 4 good square meters. It was more than he hoped …
After installing the door frame … Michael plastered the walls. He even prepared custom panels. A wallpaper totally in the theme.
Molly even had a nice colorful light for a cozy atmosphere.
And since she used to sit on the sofa in the living room, Michael had the idea to buy him a little just for her (and her stuffed friends ).
This attentive owner has thought of everything to make the comfort of this room at the top for Molly. This very cozy sleeping is perfect!
Honey’s end might have been dramatic, but thanks to the love she is now very happy.
When a Beagle female named Honey was dropped at the Animal Protection Society last June, she could barely stand on her feet as she was chubby, not to say obese. But the worst thing about the whole story of abandonment is that a member of Honey’s family asks to simply euthanize her. What the employees refused.
“She was so young, we knew we could help her,” said Honey’s host family at the dodo.
After a visit to the vet, She was diagnosed with a thyroid problem, she could lose 5 pounds just by taking appropriate treatment. But it was clear that her weight gain was not only caused by this health concern.
At the shelter, no one knows exactly how Honey lived before being abandoned by a member of the family. As for the owner, he apparently suffered from dementia and did not remember when he had given her food or not. That’s how Honey gained weight, weighing three times the weight of a Beagle before it was adopted.
With the veterinarian’s agreement, Honey started a fitness program with swimming. At first, Honey hated to go in the water and as she began to appreciate it and after a few weeks she had already lost a third of her weight! In addition to swimming, Honey also takes regular walks to continue losing weight and staying fit.
A new start for Honey the Beagle
Today, Honey has lost more than half of its weight and continues to grow at its own pace. She is now a totally metamorphosed dog who loves to play, run and even walk up and down the stairs!
A real feat for Honey who was unable to walk without dragging herself when she was abandoned.
And even if it still has some way to go. Honey is a real little love that has melted everyone’s heart and has regained all her joy of life.
