Woman Ends Up Adopting A Dog She Had To Give Up As A Child

What happens if you end up adopting a dog you thought you will never see again?

Nicole was only 14 when her family made the decision to part with her dog. 8 years have passed since then and a small miracle has taken place.
Nicole Grimes is now a 22-year-old mother who lives in West Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She just ends up adopting a dog that was, in fact, hers when she was still a girl.

“When I was little, I wanted a dog. I told my grandma about it, “she recalls. And her grandmother had fulfilled her wish: “My mom came to pick me up at school and my grandmother was with her. On her lap, there was this beautiful pup with a pink bow on his head.

Between the dog, a Pomeranian / Poodle mix, and Nicole, very strong links were woven throughout the four years together, until the family decides to separate.

Her father had just landed a job at home and the dog, particularly agitated and noisy, prevented him from doing his job properly. Chloe was dropped off at the Humane Society shelter in Washington County.

8 years have passed since Chloe had lived with 2 other families. Recently, a Facebook friend of Nicole posted a message in which he explained that he was looking for a forever home for an elderly dog named Chloe.

The resident of West Brownsville thought, seeing the picture, that she looked a little like the animal she Knows during her childhood, but she did not really believe it was the same furry friend.

She then decided to adopt her, more because the profile of the dog suited her only by the conviction that it was the one that shared his daily life 8 years ago.

A Miracle Happens

At home, this feeling of familiarity increased over the days, as Chloe had behaviors she was already displaying at the time, such as lifting the paw in a certain way or going around in circles. To be sure, Nicole and her father passed it to the chip reader and the result could not be clearer: this is the one and only Chloe!

For Nicole, there is no doubt that this miraculous return is a wink from the sky from her beloved grandmother, who died 3 years ago.

Abandoned Dog Waits Every Day For Her Owner To Come Back

This abandoned dog waits every day in the same place, a woman approaches and realizes the horrible truth

A few weeks ago, in Pennsylvania, many people notice something bizarre in the park completely covered with snow: an abandoned dog comes every day to sit on a bench and seems to wait.

Alone, dog in a park, Carla had no one left …

On several occasions, people have tried to approach the dog who has fled every time but never leaving the park. It was very clear: she was waiting for someone. After several failures, someone decides to contact an association and this is how Janine Guido who works in Speranza Animal Rescue goes to the park to try to help this abandoned and poor dog.

A difficult rescue

Unfortunately for Janine, the abandoned dog – named Carla – was not very cooperative and especially she was very scared. Even with food, it was impossible to approach her. It will take Janine several days and a lot of patience before finally gaining the trust of Carla.

Immediately, Janine puts Carla in her car and took her to the vet to make a complete consultation of the dog that seems she really need it.

The veterinarian informs Janine that Carla is about 10 years old and she is much too thin. According to him, she was abandoned in this park and since then she has not stopped waiting for them. But obviously, no one has ever come back for her.

Today, Carla has nothing to fear for her future. Janine has found a new home in which she is warm and happy and in which she has even found two new friends with whom she loves to go for a walk! A new and well-deserved life for Carla who only wanted to be loved.

He Asks To Euthanize His Dog Because She Is Too Big-What Happened Next Is Heartwarming

euthanize his dog because she is so big

Honey’s end might have been dramatic, but thanks to the love she is now very happy.
When a Beagle female named Honey was dropped at the Animal Protection Society last June, she could barely stand on her feet as she was chubby, not to say obese. But the worst thing about the whole story of abandonment is that a member of Honey’s family asks to simply euthanize her. What the employees refused.

“She was so young, we knew we could help her,” said Honey’s host family at the dodo.

After a visit to the vet, She was diagnosed with a thyroid problem, she could lose 5 pounds just by taking appropriate treatment. But it was clear that her weight gain was not only caused by this health concern.

At the shelter, no one knows exactly how Honey lived before being abandoned by a member of the family. As for the owner, he apparently suffered from dementia and did not remember when he had given her food or not. That’s how Honey gained weight, weighing three times the weight of a Beagle before it was adopted.

With the veterinarian’s agreement, Honey started a fitness program with swimming. At first, Honey hated to go in the water and as she began to appreciate it and after a few weeks she had already lost a third of her weight! In addition to swimming, Honey also takes regular walks to continue losing weight and staying fit.

A new start for Honey the Beagle

Today, Honey has lost more than half of its weight and continues to grow at its own pace. She is now a totally metamorphosed dog who loves to play, run and even walk up and down the stairs!

A real feat for Honey who was unable to walk without dragging herself when she was abandoned.

And even if it still has some way to go.   Honey is a real little love that has melted everyone’s heart and has regained all her joy of life.

The vet gives Macho a second chance

Some people are not made to live with animals

When he was only 8 months old, Macho Furious lost the use of his back legs on Christmas day. Several days later, his owner – a breeder- took him to the vet to find out if his condition was permanent or not. The vet then explained that Macho Furious’s condition was permanent, he could never use his paws again.

The vet refuses euthanasia

His owner then asked that he be euthanized because it no longer served him anything.
The veterinarian was speechless and refused euthanasia. He contacted a shelter for the dog to be cared for and gives the dog a second chance.

A second chance for Mancho

When Reynolds crossed the photo of M Furiousacho, she immediately got into her car, drove from her home in Wilmington, Delaware, to pick him up, she gives him a second chance.

“Thank god the veterinarian stepped in and refused to euthanize the poor pup,” She said.

According to veterinarians who have been working with Macho Furious say his state of paralysis is the consequence of bad breeding.

Since last January 3, the dog lives with her fiance and her six adopted animals in their home.

He was very happy, Macho Furious immediately showed how good and happiest dog he was.

A nonprofit that donates wheelchairs to dogs is sending over Macho his first wheels and promises to replace them every time he needs a new set.

Raynold expects that he lives with her for at least another month, so he gets used to his wheelchair and undergoes his surgery.

When ready, Macho Furious will join his new family,  that will live close to Reynolds because she hopes to visit him as often as possible.

“Macho Furious has a long life ahead of him. I’m glad we crossed the path of this dog. he will be a very happy dog,” said Reynolds. And that’s all we want.
